What is a Sabbatical Officer?

Liverpool Hope Students' Union is a registered charity and our sabbatical officers are elected into a paid position by students for the academic year. They are elected to work full time representing students of Liverpool Hope University for both national and local matters. Sabbatical officers ensure that students voices are heard by running campaigns, organising informal meetings and working on relevant projects on the behalf of students holding the University accountable on decisions that affect students. Their job is to represent students on the issues that matter to them and ensure that students have the best possible experience.

Every year the elected officers choose key issues to focus on based on feedback from students. You can see or current sabbatical officers’ manifestos on their profiles.
