Nominate Yourself for Part-Time Community Representative Position

It’s time to nominate yourself to represent your fellow students!

Community Representatives are volunteers who represent specific groups of students while continuing their studies. If you’re passionate about student issues and want to make a difference, this is your opportunity to campaign on issues that matter to your community, with support from Sabbatical Officers in the SU.

Why Run?

Running as a Community Representative is a great way to:

• Get more involved with your Union

• Improve your employability

• Make a positive impact for students
  These are voluntary, part-time positions you hold alongside your studies. Each role comes with a lead officer and a budget to support your campaigns.

How to Nominate Yourself

You can nominate yourself in two ways:

1. Through the nomination link sent to your student email

2. Directly via our website nomination page

When nominating, please include:

• Full name

• Student ID

• Position you are nominating yourself for

• What you hope to achieve if elected (around 250 words)

Important Dates

• Nominations open: 21st September

• Nominations close: 16th October

• Voting opens: 19th October

• Voting closes: 23rd October
